SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of William Dennis "Bill" Hancock Sr.; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, Bill Hancock was employed by Divane Brothers 
5Electric Company for 44 years; he was a loyal member of the 
6International Brotherhood of Electrical Engineers Local 134 
7for over 68 years; and
  
 


  
8    WHEREAS, Bill Hancock Sr. was the beloved husband of 
9Margaret Mary (Hogan) Hancock, the devoted father of William 
10Hancock Jr., Michael (Melanie) Hancock, Terrance J. (Deirdre) 
11Hancock, Kathleen (the late Steve) Short, and Patrick (Wendi) 
12Hancock, the loving son of the late Dennis and Marie Hancock, 
13the adored grandfather of Josh (Jenna), David, James (Courtney) 
14Elizabeth (Kyle), Andrew (Taylor), Bryan, Colin (Casey), and 
15Alexandra, the great-grandfather of Vivienne, Finnegan, and 
16Caroline, the fond brother of Rosemary (the late Arch) Baird 
17and John (Judith) Hancock, and the dear uncle of nine nieces 
18and six nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
21William Dennis "Bill" Hancock Sr. and extend our sincere 
22condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved

2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
3presented to the family of Bill Hancock Sr. as an expression of
