2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of James Hutton of Braidwood, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on May 26, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, James Hutton was born in Joliet to Allen and | ||||||
6 | Eleanore (Thontlin) Hutton on December 2, 1946; he graduated | ||||||
7 | from Wilmington High School in 1964 and married Angie Latham in | ||||||
8 | Wilmington on August 23, 1969; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, James Hutton retired from Gallagher Asphalt, | ||||||
10 | Joliet Plant in March of 2006; in his early years, he operated | ||||||
11 | Wilmington Lanes with his brothers; and | ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, James Hutton served on the Braidwood Zoning Board | ||||||
13 | and the Braidwood Food Panty Board; he was Public Building and | ||||||
14 | Property Commissioner; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, James Hutton was a member of International Union | ||||||
16 | of Operating Engineers Local #150 in Countryside for 53 years; | ||||||
17 | he was a Past Master of Braidwood Masonic Lodge #704, a | ||||||
18 | lifetime member of Wilmington Masonic Lodge #208, and a member | ||||||
19 | of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #241 in Wilmington; he was an | ||||||
20 | avid fan of Reed-Custer High School Football and a member of | ||||||
21 | the Braidwood Baseball Association; and

1 | WHEREAS, James Hutton was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
2 | his brothers, Ron and Bruce Hutton; his nephew, John Hutton; | ||||||
3 | and his brothers-in-law, Dave Latham and Butch Steele; and
| ||||||
4 | WHEREAS, James Hutton is survived by his wife, Angie; his | ||||||
5 | son, James (Pamela) Hutton; his daughter, Lori (Gary) Turk; his | ||||||
6 | granddaughters, Haley and Hanna Turk; his brother, Roger | ||||||
7 | (Cheryl) Hutton; his sisters, Marilyn (Jerry) Sutter and Joyce | ||||||
8 | (Louie) Bohlander; his brothers-in-law, Lucky Latham, Steve | ||||||
9 | Tupper, and Mike (Michelle) Tupper; his sisters-in-law, | ||||||
10 | Michele Bell, Myrna Latham, and Darla Hutton; his extended | ||||||
11 | family, Tim and Jessica Teran; and numerous nieces and nephews; | ||||||
12 | therefore, be it

13 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
14 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
15 | James Hutton and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | ||||||
16 | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
| ||||||
17 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
18 | presented to the family of James Hutton as an expression of our | ||||||
19 | deepest sympathy.
