SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Carol Mendoza of Park City, who passed 
4away on July 2, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Carol Mendoza was born in Chicago to Stephen and 
6Norma Feller on August 9, 1949; she married Francisco "Frank" 
7Mendoza in Waukegan on July 26, 1983; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Carol Mendoza was a beautician and the owner and 
9operator of Carol's Doll House in Deerfield; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Carol Mendoza volunteered with Providing 
11Advocacy, Dignity and Shelter (PADS) for many years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Carol Mendoza was preceded in death by her 
13parents; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Carol Mendoza is survived by her husband of 36 
15years, Frank; her brother, Steve Feller; her brothers-in-law 
16and sisters-in-law, Jose Mendoza, Alfredo Mendoza, Anastacia 
17Mendoza, Guadalupe Mendoza, and Rosa Mendoza; her nephew, 
18Charles Feller; and many nieces, nephews, and friends; 
19therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Carol Mendoza and extend our sincere condolences to her family, 
4friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Carol Mendoza as an expression of 
7our deepest sympathy.
