| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Sandra Welker of Naples, Florida, |
| 4 | | formerly of Waukegan, who passed away on July 1, 2019; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Sandra Welker was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to |
| 6 | | Lloyd P. and Sylvia (Belot) Post on October 15, 1945; she |
| 7 | | married Rodger Welker, and they raised their daughters in |
| 8 | | Waukegan; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Since moving to Naples, Florida, Sandra Welker |
| 10 | | enjoyed serving on the Board and volunteering with the Christ |
| 11 | | Child Society of Naples, playing bridge with multiple groups, |
| 12 | | traveling the world with friends, volunteering with Greater |
| 13 | | Naples Leadership, and spending time with her family; she was |
| 14 | | known for her love of decorating the house for the holidays, |
| 15 | | her entertaining skills, and being a loyal friend; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Sandra Welker was preceded in death by her parents |
| 17 | | and her husband of 40 years, Rodger; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Sandra Welker is survived by her daughters, Sara |
| 19 | | Welker and Megan (Jeremy Pincombe) Welker; her granddaughters, |
| 20 | | Madeline, Julia, and Meredith; her brother, Robert Post; and |
| 21 | | many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
