SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Lenore R. Iwan of Lindenhurst, formerly 
4of Wadsworth, who passed away on July 13, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lenore Iwan was born in Waukegan to Lillian and 
6Joseph Kenar; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Lenore Iwan retired from Lake Forest College; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Lenore Iwan was a member of St. Patrick's Church 
9in Wadsworth and the Polish Legion of American Veterans Ladies 
10Auxiliary; one of her hobbies was entering sweepstakes, and she 
11won many trips and a new car; she loved attending her 
12grandchildren's events and traveling, especially to casinos 
13throughout the country with her husband; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Lenore  Iwan was preceded in death by her parents 
15and her daughter, Rhonda Marie Cashmore; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Lenore Iwan is survived by her husband of 33 
17years, Stanley; her children, David Cashmore, Randy (Kristin) 
18Cashmore, and Kevin (Liz Peterson) Cashmore; her 
19grandchildren, Zachary Cashmore, Nathan Cashmore, Abigail 
20Cashmore, Kristopher Cashmore, Emily McKee, Madeline McKee,

1Brian McKee, and Kathleen McKee; and her brother, Lawrence 
2Kenar; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Lenore R. Iwan and extend our sincere condolences to her 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
