SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Arthur W. "Art" Dillon of Colona, who 
4passed away on July 8, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Art Dillon was born in Moline to Raymond and 
6Elizabeth Van Vleck Dillon on April 20, 1942; he served in the 
7United States Army; he married Cathy Francis; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Art Dillon retired from the former Case IH Plant 
9in East Moline; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Art Dillon was preceded in death by his parents; a 
11brother; and a sister; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Art Dillon is survived by his wife, Cathy; his 
13children, Michael, Michelle, Steve, Elaine (Jeff), and 
14William; and several grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
16ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
17Arthur W. "Art" Dillon and extend our sincere condolences to 
18his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
