SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of April Danielle Brazier Green, who passed 
4away on September 19, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, April Green was born to Dr. Byron T. and 
6Evangelist Mary Brazier on August 19, 1968; she attended the 
7World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio before moving to 
8Texas, where she became a home healthcare provider; she 
9eventually moved back to Chicago and entered the systematic 
10ministry process at Apostolic Church of God; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, April Green started a business as a hair 
12technician, K.I.C. with April B; and
 
13    WHEREAS, April Green was very charismatic, adventurous, 
14and smart and had a beautiful singing voice; she loved caring 
15for others and cooking and was deeply committed to her faith; 
16and
  
 

  
17    WHEREAS, April Green is survived by her husband, Andre 
18Green; her parents; her children, Dante James, Shante James, 
19Breyana Patterson, Jemari Colyar, and Mariyah Patterson; her 
20grandchildren, D'niyah, Paris, Nasir, Quran, London, 
21A'brealle, Breion, and Londyn; her sister, Jacqueline Johnson;

1her brothers, Byron T. Brazier Jr. and Andre Wojtuski; and 
2numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; 
3therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6April Danielle Brazier Green and extend our sincere condolences 
7to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be 
8it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to  the family of  April Green as an expression of our 
11deepest sympathy.
