SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of George B. Krug of Burr Ridge, who passed 
4away on October 16, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, George Krug was a proud graduate of Fenwick High 
6School and served in the Illinois National Guard; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, George Krug spent his career in construction, 
8beginning with Krug Excavating and ultimately founding K-Five 
9Construction, which is run by his children today; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, George Krug loved golf, Palm Springs, and 
11traveling; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, George Krug was the beloved husband of Kay 
13(Tippin); the loving father of Jennifer (William) McNaughton, 
14Robert (Heidi), and Heart Almeida; the proud grandfather of 
15Jack, Nick, Grant, Andria, Kendall, William, and Jack; the fond 
16uncle of many nieces and nephews; the dear brother of Kitty 
17(John) Dearie, Jody (Jerry) Schulte, Rob (Patti), and Bill 
18(Marta); and an incredible friend and mentor to many; 
19therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2George B. Krug and extend our sincere condolences to his 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  George Krug as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
