SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Emery Rehn of Moline, who passed away on 
4October 24, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was born in Moline to Elmer and Anna 
6(Peterson) Rehn on October 3, 1925; he served in the U.S. Army; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Emery Rehn worked at the former JI Case in East 
9Moline; he was a member of several farming organizations; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was an avid bowler and baseball fan; 
11and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was preceded in death by his sister, 
13Lorna Rainey, and his brothers, Harold and Herman Rehn; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Emery Rehn is survived by his wife, Emma; his 
15sisters, Gladys Olson and Joyce (Bob) Nelson; and his brother, 
16Kenneth Rehn; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Emery Rehn and extend our sincere condolences to his family,

1friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
3presented to  the family of  Emery Rehn as an expression of our 
4deepest sympathy.
