SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of John Kellogg Gage III, who passed away on 
4July 2, 2019 at the age of 48; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Gage III was born on December 13, 2019 to 
6Mary Jane and John K. Gage Jr. and grew up in Oak Park; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, John Gage III was a proud graduate of St. Giles, 
8Fenwick High School, and Marquette University; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, John Gage III cherished his family and was an avid 
10golfer and lover of animals; and
 
11    WHEREAS, John Gage III will be missed for his infectious 
12personality and remembered for the wonderful times shared with 
13friends and family; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, John Gage III was  preceded in death by his father, 
15John K. Gage Jr.; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, John Gage III is survived by his mother; his 
17sister, Shannon (Greg) Hopp; his nephews, Ryan and Dan 
18(Rachel); and his niece, Cori; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3John Kellogg Gage III and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of John Gage III as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
