SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Dennis L. Hutton of Milan, who passed 
4away on December 8, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dennis Hutton was born in Moline to Clifford and 
6Beulah Kistenmacher Hutton on September 28, 1944; he graduated 
7from Rock Island High School in 1962 and served in the U.S. 
8Army during the Vietnam War; he married Shari L. Fritz in Rock 
9Island on November 25, 1967; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Dennis Hutton worked at I.H. Farmall Works for 
11nine years; he then became  a police officer for the Rock Island 
12Police Department for 31 years; following his retirement, he 
13worked as a security guard for Trinity Hospital for 10 years; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Dennis Hutton was a member of Two Rivers United 
16Methodist Church in  Rock Island; he was an avid fan of the Rock 
17Island Rocks and enjoyed hunting and fishing; he loved his 
18family and grand-dogs, Maisy and Change Up; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Dennis Hutton was preceded in death by his 
20parents; and

1    WHEREAS, Dennis Hutton is survived by wife, Shari; his 
2sons, Michael (Krista), Patrick (Chrystal), and John Hutton; 
3his grandchildren, Hannah and Jon Hutton and Lena and Celi 
4Perez; his brother, Bruce Hutton; and several nieces, nephews, 
5and additional family members; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
8Dennis L. Hutton and extend our sincere condolences to his 
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
10further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to  the family of  Dennis Hutton as an expression of 
13our deepest sympathy.
