2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Timothy Clifford "Tim" Popp of Peoria, |
4 | | who passed away on November 26, 2019; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Tim Popp was born in L'Anse, Michigan to Bernice |
6 | | and William Popp on September 8, 1967; he graduated from Iron |
7 | | Mountain High School in 1986 as valedictorian and then with |
8 | | honors from the University of Michigan; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, For the majority of his career, Tim Popp worked in |
10 | | logistics at Caterpillar in Peoria; most recently, he worked at |
11 | | Illinois Central College as a data analyst; and
|
12 | | WHEREAS, Tim Popp will be remembered for his pride and love |
13 | | for his children, his tremendous wit, his love for dancing, |
14 | | acting, and the Michigan Wolverines, his kindness, his pursuit |
15 | | of social justice, and his youthful approach to life, |
16 | | especially when entertaining his kids, nieces, and nephews; and
|
17 | | WHEREAS, Tim Popp was preceded in death by his maternal and |
18 | | paternal grandparents and aunts and uncles, Joe and Peggy Popp, |
19 | | Jim Andrian, Kay and Stanley Wyrwas, John and Josephine |
20 | | Stanislawczyk, Ray Garcia, Carol Jeffers, Cliff Popp, Mike |
21 | | Stanislawczyk, and Margie Stanislawczyk, and his cousin, Karen |
