| 2 | | WHEREAS, the members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Carol Joy Cunningham of Northbrook, who |
| 4 | | passed away on December 24, 2019; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Carol Cunningham received her Master's in |
| 6 | | Education from the University of Missouri; she served as a |
| 7 | | Congressional staffer for Congressman John Porter, 10th |
| 8 | | District, for seven years; she then worked for the Social |
| 9 | | Security Administration for 11 years; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Carol Cunningham served for ten years on the |
| 11 | | Northbrook School District 28 School Board and was President of |
| 12 | | the Northfield Township Board of School Trustees for 15 years; |
| 13 | | she was also a professional artist and photographer; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Carol Cunningham is survived by her husband of 50 |
| 15 | | years, William Cunningham; sons, David (Magan) and Eric |
| 16 | | Cunningham; grandchildren, Jackson Cunningham and Connor |
| 17 | | Cunningham; sister, Susan Askew Stewart; brother, Willard |
| 18 | | Askew; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
|
| 19 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 20 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
