SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Lawrence J. "Larry" Anderson of East 
4Moline, who passed away on January 2, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lawrence Anderson was born in Pittsburgh, 
6Pennsylvania to Carl Alfred and Leona Oswald Anderson on 
7September 12, 1928; he served in the U.S. Army during World War 
8II; he married Donna Jean Meyers in Pittsburgh on September 27, 
91955; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Lawrence Anderson retired from Deere & Company on 
11May 31, 1986 after 19 years of service, retiring as Senior 
12Audio Visual Director/Producer; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Lawrence Anderson was preceded in death by his 
14parents and his son, Lawrence Anderson Jr.; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Lawrence Anderson is survived by his beloved wife, 
16Donna Jean; children, Claudia (fiance, Bryan Young) Anderson 
17and Gregory (Diane) Anderson; and his best friend "Lilly"; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Lawrence J. "Larry" Anderson and extend our sincere condolences 
2to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
3it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

6of our deepest sympathy.
