| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to

| 3 | | learn of the death of Juanita Johnessee of Bunker Hill, who |
| 4 | | passed away on January 15, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Juanita Johnessee was born in Clementsville, |
| 6 | | Kentucky to Logan Pettyjohn and Eva Atwood Pettyjohn on |
| 7 | | February 27, 1934; she graduated from Bunker Hill High School |
| 8 | | in 1952 and married Robert F. Johnessee at the Berean Baptist |
| 9 | | Church in Bunker Hill on September 4, 1953; she was a homemaker |
| 10 | | and a member of the Berean Baptist Church; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Juanita Johnessee was preceded in death by her |
| 12 | | parents, Logan Pettyjohn and Eva Atwood Pettyjohn; her sisters, |
| 13 | | Janeva Garrison and Beatrice Throne; and her brothers, Roy |
| 14 | | Pettyjohn, Lee Pettyjohn, and Coy Pettyjohn; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Juanita Johnessee is survived by her husband, |
| 16 | | Robert F. Johnessee; her children, Robert L. (Heidi) Johnessee |
| 17 | | and Deborah Dorrington; her grandchildren, Major Robert |
| 18 | | (Veronica) Johnessee, Brian (Sara) Johnessee, Bethany (Joshua) |
| 19 | | Eldridge, Sara (Eric) Cayton, James Dorrington, and Benjamin |
| 20 | | (Christi) Dorrington; her nine great-grandchildren; and her |
| 21 | | sister, Thelma "Poodle" Roberts; therefore, be it
