SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of William "Bill" J. Mathias of Silvis, who 
4passed away on January 5, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William Mathias was born on January 4, 1959 in 
6Moline to Charles and Janette Hoeg Mathias; he married Korina 
7Kindelsperger in Port Byron on September 2, 2017; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, William Mathias worked as a maintenance director 
9for Riverside School District; he enjoyed fishing and  helping 
10others; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, William Mathias is survived by his wife, Korina; 
12daughter, Ashley (Philip) Vernau; stepchildren Jenny (Kevin) 
13Glackin, TJ (Beth) Zaragoza, Joshua (Jamie) Mathis, Jedediah 
14(Sue) Mathis, and Kaylynn (Nick) Meyers; grandchildren, 
15Matteus, Etienne, Riley, Ava, Kinsley, Ethan, Liam, Corbin, 
16Brayden, Cameron, and Georgia; siblings, Robin Schmidt, Chuck 
17(Lynette) Mathias, Debbie (Rick) Armstrong, Tom Mathias, and 
18Wes Mathias; and his stepfather, Fred Blake; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, William Mathias is proceeded in death by his 
20mother, Jeanette Blake; and his father, Charles Mathias;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3William "Bill" Mathias and extend our sincere
condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
him; and be it
