| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to

| 3 | | learn of the death of Tommy Lee Logan, III of Springfield, who |
| 4 | | passed away on January 14, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Tommy Lee Logan was born in Thornton, Mississippi |
| 6 | | to Tommie B. Logan and Luella Sheehi Logan on August 6, 1941; |
| 7 | | he proudly served in the United States Army and was a lifelong |
| 8 | | waiter, having worked for the Springfield Hilton, Sangamo Club, |
| 9 | | St. Nicholas Hotels and Restaurants, and various other |
| 10 | | Springfield restaurants; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Tommy Lee Logan was a member of the Timothy |
| 12 | | Baptist Church and the Wizard's Wonders; he was also an avid |
| 13 | | Cubs fan; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Tommy Lee Logan was preceded in death by his |
| 15 | | parents, Tommie B. Logan and Luella Sheehi Logan; his sons, |
| 16 | | Robert Mike Cowan, Kirk Hardy, David Craig, and Keith Cowan; |
| 17 | | his brothers, William, Leon, James, and Charlie Logan; and his |
| 18 | | sisters, Alma Thomas, Betty McKinney, Dessie Rey Readus, |
| 19 | | Josephine Crutcher, and Betty Logan; and |
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Tommy Lee Logan is survived by his sons, Omar |
| 21 | | Anderson, Jonathan (Camisha) Hardy, Jesse Craig, Anthony |
