SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Susan M. Kalas of Huntley, who passed 
4away on December 27, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Susan Kalas was born in Chicago to Walter and 
6Zenona Wojciechowski on October 7, 1971; she married James 
7Kalas on March 14, 2009; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Susan Kalas was the Executive Clinical Director of 
9Nursing for Asbury Healthcare; she  was devoted to caring for 
10people; she was passionate about nursing and dedicated to 
11helping others; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Susan Kalas was an animal lover, especially rescue 
13dogs; her greatest joy was being a mom to her three boys; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Susan Kalas was preceded in death by her mother, 
15Zenona; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Susan Kalas is survived by her husband, James 
17Kalas; her boys, Andy, Nathan, and Kyle; her father, Walter 
18Wojciechowski; her sister, Eva (Steve) Coker; and numerous 
19nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Susan M. Kalas and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Susan Kalas as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
