2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of April Danielle Brazier Green of Chicago, |
4 | | who passed away on September 19, 2019; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, April Brazier Green was born to Dr. Byron T. |
6 | | Brazier and Evangelist Mary Brazier on August 19, 1968; she |
7 | | attended World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, April Brazier Green became a home health care |
9 | | provider in Texas, caring for those that were physically and/or |
10 | | mentally challenged; she later became an entrepreneur and |
11 | | started her own business, K.I.C. (Keeping It Cute) with April |
12 | | B, as a hair technician; and
|
13 | | WHEREAS, April Brazier Green moved back to Chicago to be |
14 | | with her parents, her brother Byron T. Brazier Jr., and her |
15 | | church family; she wanted to enter the Systematic Ministry |
16 | | Process offered at Apostolic Church of God in order to answer |
17 | | her calling and go into ministry; and

18 | | WHEREAS, April Brazier Green was deeply committed to her |
19 | | faith; she was passionate about caring for others and cooking; |
20 | | she was known for being adventurous, charismatic, smart, and |
21 | | having a beautiful singing voice; and
