SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Harvey A. Hollmann of Jacob, who passed
4away on January 27, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Harvey A. Hollmann was born in Jacob to Arthur and
6Suzanne (Grode) Hollmann on July 28, 1932; he married Alice
7Moeller on June 15, 1956; he served during the Korean War from
81954 to 1956; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Harvey A. Hollmann farmed with his father, milking
10cows, raising pigs and chickens, running lights on the river,
11and trucking; he remained a farmer all of his life, working on
12the family farm; he also assisted Miesner Grain and
13Gilster-Mary Lee; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Harvey A. Hollmann was baptized and confirmed at
15Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob, where he served in many
16capacities; he was also a member of the Chester VFW Post #3553;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Harvey A. Hollmann was preceded in death by his
19parents; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Harvey A. Hollmann is survived by his wife, Alice

1Hollmann; his son, Bryan (Vickie) Hollmann; his daughter, Peggy
2(Kevin) Bunselmeyer; his grandchildren, David (Haley)
3Hollmann, Eric (April) Hollmann, Klayton Bunselmeyer, and
4Kourtney Bunselmeyer; his great-grandchildren, Keegan,
5Brayden, Garrett, and Graham Hollmann; his sister, Marilyn
6Imhoff; and his loving dog, Sassy; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Harvey A. Hollmann and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Harvey Hollmann as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
