| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Richard E. Rath of Lake Jackson, Texas, |
| 4 | | who passed away on January 20, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Richard Rath was born in Vergennes to Joe and Alta |
| 6 | | (Spencer) Rath on March 13, 1932; he was a retired Air Force |
| 7 | | veteran; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Richard Rath is survived by his daughter, Kimberly |
| 9 | | (Scott) Foster; his son, Curtis (Tracy) Rath; his |
| 10 | | grandchildren, Trenton (Ashley), Taryn Rath, and Chelsea |
| 11 | | (James) McClure; his sister, Verna Bastien; his brother, Howard |
| 12 | | Rath; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Williams, Carol Smith, |
| 13 | | and Barbra Donegan; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 | | Richard E. Rath and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 17 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 18 | | further

| 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 | | presented to the family of Richard Rath as an expression of our |
| 21 | | deepest sympathy.
