| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Virgil Baldwin of Bloomington, who passed |
| 4 | | away on April 8, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Virgil Baldwin was born in Hardin County to Virgil |
| 6 | | and Verna (Belford) Baldwin on January 25, 1934; he married |
| 7 | | Elva Alice "Tudi" Floyd on February 28, 1959, and she preceded |
| 8 | | him in death on July 15, 2011; he served his country in the |
| 9 | | Korean War and with the Army of Occupation in Berlin, Germany; |
| 10 | | and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Virgil Baldwin was an avid golfer and hunter; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Virgil Baldwin is survived by his sons, Greg |
| 13 | | (Alice) Baldwin and Jason (Jolene) Baldwin, and his |
| 14 | | grandchildren, Steven Baldwin, Josie Baldwin, Hannah Baldwin, |
| 15 | | Hunter Baldwin, and Holden Baldwin; therefore, be it
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 18 | | Virgil Baldwin and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 19 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
