| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Charles William Fulton of East Moline, |
| 4 | | who passed away on April 17, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was born to Frank and Clara (Krack) |
| 6 | | Fulton in Cairo on November 3, 1930; he completed an 11 month |
| 7 | | assignment in Korea while serving in the United States Air |
| 8 | | Force from 1950 to 1954; he was awarded the Korean Service |
| 9 | | Medal, a United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense |
| 10 | | Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal; Charles married Sung |
| 11 | | Kim at Grace Baptist Church in East Moline on May 12, 1979; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was employed by Case IH, Rock |
| 13 | | Island; he retired in November of 1985; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was a great man of faith; he served |
| 15 | | many years as a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Grace |
| 16 | | Baptist Church in East Moline; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was preceded in death by his |
| 18 | | parents, Frank and Clara Fulton; his son, Daniel Fulton; his |
| 19 | | brothers, Albert, Donald, and Franklin; and his sisters, |
| 20 | | Violet, Beatrice, and Delores; and
