SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Charles "Chuck" Bonner of Sherman, who
4passed away on May 3, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner was born in Springfield to Charles
6and Irene H. Nemecek Bonner on January 25, 1952; he graduated
7from Southeast High School and served in the U.S. Army in
8Germany from 1972 to 1974; he married Judy Cervellone on
9November 2, 2002; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner worked as an electrician for
11Pillsbury Mills and Cargill for 30 years; he retired from the
12U.S. Postal Service in 2017; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner enjoyed motorcycle road trips; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner was preceded in death by his parents
15and his brothers, Thomas Emil Bonner and Timothy E. Bonner; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner is survived by his wife, Judy; his
17sister-in-law, Judy A. Bonner; his nephew, Thomas E. (Deonna)
18Bonner; his great-nieces, Lauren and Sara Bonner; several
19cousins; and his close friend, Tom Cartmel; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Charles "Chuck" Bonner and extend our sincere condolences to
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Chuck Bonner as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
