| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Charles "Chuck" Bonner of Sherman, who |
| 4 | | passed away on May 3, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner was born in Springfield to Charles |
| 6 | | and Irene H. Nemecek Bonner on January 25, 1952; he graduated |
| 7 | | from Southeast High School and served in the U.S. Army in |
| 8 | | Germany from 1972 to 1974; he married Judy Cervellone on |
| 9 | | November 2, 2002; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner worked as an electrician for |
| 11 | | Pillsbury Mills and Cargill for 30 years; he retired from the |
| 12 | | U.S. Postal Service in 2017; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner enjoyed motorcycle road trips; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner was preceded in death by his parents |
| 15 | | and his brothers, Thomas Emil Bonner and Timothy E. Bonner; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner is survived by his wife, Judy; his |
| 17 | | sister-in-law, Judy A. Bonner; his nephew, Thomas E. (Deonna) |
| 18 | | Bonner; his great-nieces, Lauren and Sara Bonner; several |
| 19 | | cousins; and his close friend, Tom Cartmel; therefore, be it
