| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Carl G. Schrof of Bloomington, who passed |
| 4 | | away on March 25, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Carl Schrof was born in Fairbury to Ervin and |
| 6 | | Grace Johnson Schrof on May 14, 1936; he was educated in |
| 7 | | Forrest schools and served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1958; |
| 8 | | he married Ernestine Earles on October 6, 1957; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Carl Schrof was a commercial real estate broker |
| 10 | | and owned and operated Schrof Enterprises; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Carl Schrof was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran |
| 12 | | Church in Forrest, the Bloomington Elks Club, the Moose Lodge, |
| 13 | | and the Illinois Valley Yacht and Canoe Club in Peoria Heights; |
| 14 | | and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Carl Schrof was preceded in death by his parents |
| 16 | | and his brother, John Schrof; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Carl Schrof is survived by his sons, Gregory and |
| 18 | | Douglas Schrof; his daughter, Pamela Rieger; his |
| 19 | | grandchildren, Angela (Eric) Leman, Tyler (Nicole) Steimle, |
| 20 | | Stuart Steimle, and Lindsey (Justin) Voights; seven |
