| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of James W. "Jim" Woodward of Normal, who |
| 4 | | passed away on April 26, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jim Woodward was born in Streator to William James |
| 6 | | and Mary Ann Harcar Woodward on September 13, 1971; he married |
| 7 | | Kjersten Sylling in Dwight on November 16, 1996; he graduated |
| 8 | | from Illinois Valley Community College; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Jim Woodward worked as the administrator at |
| 10 | | Central Illinois Orthopedic Surgeons; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Jim Woodward was known as a staunch Republican; he |
| 12 | | enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing practical jokes, and making |
| 13 | | others laugh; he especially enjoyed watching and supporting his |
| 14 | | son's sports teams; most of all, he loved having fun and |
| 15 | | spending time with his family and friends; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Jim Woodward was preceded in death by his father, |
| 17 | | Williams James Woodward; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Jim Woodward is survived by his wife, Kjersten |
| 19 | | Woodward; his son, John Woodward; his mother, Mary Ann |
| 20 | | Woodward; his mother-in-law, Peggy (Ken) Drake; and his special |
