SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Calvin D. "Dannie" Tharp, formerly of 
4Mahomet, who passed away on April 12, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Calvin Tharp served in the U.S. Navy; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Calvin Tharp was the owner and operator of Mahomet 
7Feed and Farm Supply for many years; and
  
 

  
8    WHEREAS, Calvin Tharp is survived by his wife, Norma; his 
9daughters, Gale (Bob) Brandner and Glenna Tharp; and his 
10sister, Nancy (John) Gard; therefore, be it
  
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of  
13Calvin D. "Dannie" Tharp and extend our sincere condolences to 
14his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
15further
  
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
17presented to  the family of  Calvin Tharp as an expression of our 
18deepest sympathy.
