SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Gary M. Wilson of Moline, who passed away 
4on May 13, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Gary Wilson was born to John and Esther (Galusha) 
6Wilson in Rock Island on March 30, 1940; he was a United States 
7Air Force Veteran; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Gary Wilson had various jobs and worked for the 
9Rock Island Lines, Steel Company, and in  landscaping and in 
10greenhouses, with his final position at the Rock Island 
11Botanical Center in Rock Island; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Gary Wilson enjoyed gardening and writing poetry; 
13and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Gary Wilson was preceded in death by his brothers, 
15Theodore, Patrick, Ronald, Gerald, and Derald; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Gary Wilson is survived by his children, Cheryl, 
17Winifred, Johanna, and John; his several grandchildren; his 
18sisters, Judy Moore, Joy Wilson, and Hazel Wilson; his  brother, 
19Herbert Wilson; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

3Gary M. Wilson and extend our sincere
condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved
him; and be it

6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

7presented to the family of Gary Wilson as an expression of
our 
8deepest sympathy.
