| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Lisa Marie Maffeo, who passed away on |
| 4 | | April 8, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Lisa Maffeo was born to Jim and Denise Maffeo on |
| 6 | | July 25, 1983; she attended Joliet-area schools and graduated |
| 7 | | from the Joliet Central AVAC Program in 2004; she continuously |
| 8 | | talked about how much she liked the teachers, especially Mr. |
| 9 | | and Mrs. Spires; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Lisa Maffeo attended the Cornerstone programs, |
| 11 | | where she made many friends; her most recent job was at the |
| 12 | | McDonald's on Jefferson Street; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Lisa Maffeo had recently joined the drumline, |
| 14 | | which she loved; she touched many people and never said a bad |
| 15 | | word about anyone; her crew at Cornerstone included Louis, a |
| 16 | | lifelong friend, Heather, her bocce partner, Ashley, Chris, and |
| 17 | | Quintez; they enjoyed visiting Jamesons on Wednesdays to play |
| 18 | | Bingo and eat tacos; she attended the Special Olympics and |
| 19 | | excelled at Bocce Ball; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Lisa Maffeo was preceded in death by her |
| 21 | | grandparents, Joe and Virginia Maffeo and Chester and Edie |
