SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Paul E. Newton of St. Charles, formerly 
4of Villa Park, who passed away on June 1, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Paul Newton was born to Clarence and Cornelia 
6(Murgas) Newton on March 27, 1937; he married Darlene Drovitz 
7on August 6, 1966, and they settled in Villa Park to raise a 
8family; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Paul Newton was preceded in death by his wife, 
10Darlene, and his parents; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Paul Newton is survived by his daughters, Alison 
12(Peter) Zeffiro and Shannon Molenda; his grandsons, John 
13Molenda, Stephen (Christina) Molenda, Nicholas Zeffiro, and 
14Zachary Zeffiro; his granddaughter, Alexandra Zeffiro; his 
15great-grandsons, Jacob Molenda and Joshua Molenda; his 
16great-granddaughters, Holley Molenda, Charlotte Molenda, and 
17Paisley Ward; and his many other family members and friends; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
21Paul E. Newton and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
2further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Paul Newton as an expression of our
