SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Thomas Eugene "Tom" Nalley of 
4Bloomington, who passed away on June 15, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Tom Nalley was born to Joseph and Marilyn Nalley 
6on May 4, 1951; he served in the U.S. Navy as a firefighter; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Tom Nalley retired from Eureka Williams and 
9Nestle-Beich; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, His entire life, Tom Nalley enjoyed hunting and 
11fishing; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Tom Nalley was preceded in death by his parents; 
13three brothers; one sister; three nephews; and a niece; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Tom Nalley is survived by his children, Shelly Ann 
15Nalley and Shawn E. Nalley; his sisters, Sharon Frost (Joseph) 
16and Leah Reynolds (Tad); his grandchildren, Eric (Sarah), Cody, 
17and Jamie Vernon; three great-grandchildren; and several 
18nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Thomas Eugene "Tom" Nalley  and extend our sincere condolences 
3to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Tom Nalley as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
