| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Jeanne A. (Felice) Velo of Flossmoor, who |
| 4 | | passed away on July 12, 2020; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jeanne Velo was born on March 28, 1918; she was a |
| 6 | | longtime Flossmoor resident and the matriarch of a five |
| 7 | | generation family; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Jeanne Velo will be remembered as the wife of the |
| 9 | | late Dominick; mother of Monsignor Kenneth Velo, Robert (Gail) |
| 10 | | Velo, and the late Barbara (late Richard) Fordon; grandmother |
| 11 | | of Richard (Julie) Fordon, Brian (Kristin) Fordon, Barbara |
| 12 | | (Thomas) Haggerty, John (Megan) Fordon, Mark (Lori) Fordon, |
| 13 | | Daniel Fordon, Robert Velo, and Brian (Robin) Velo; |
| 14 | | great-grandmother of 22; great-great-grandmother of two; |
| 15 | | sister of Ada Krusinski, the late Alba Felice, and the late |
| 16 | | Brunie Courtney; therefore, be it
