2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Leroy "Lee" A. Webster of Springfield, |
4 | | who passed away on July 4, 2020; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Lee Webster was born to Leroy Sr. and Marie |
6 | | (Pastrovich) Webster in St. Louis, Missouri on March 17, 1945; |
7 | | he served in the Air National Guard; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, For 32 years, Lee Webster ran the successful |
9 | | Springfield restaurant Jolly Tamale, which started out as Taco |
10 | | Gringo; and
|
11 | | WHEREAS, Lee Webster was a volunteer firefighter in |
12 | | Divernon for many years; he also served on the board of |
13 | | Divernon; he was strong, smart, loving and caring; and
|
14 | | WHEREAS, Lee Webster is survived by his wife, Celeste |
15 | | Webster; and his son, Jason (Staci) Webster; therefore, be it
|
16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
|
18 | | Leroy "Lee" A. Webster and extend our sincere
condolences to |
19 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
