| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of John "Jack" Eddleman of East Moline, who |
| 4 | | passed away on July 31, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jack Eddleman was born in Moline to Ralph and Mary |
| 6 | | Esther (Parmley) Eddleman on May 12, 1936; he married Willa Ann |
| 7 | | Culp in East Moline on September 7, 1956 and served in the U.S. |
| 8 | | Army, where he was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Jack Eddleman was an assembler at John Deere |
| 10 | | Harvester; he retired in March of 1987 after 32 years of |
| 11 | | service; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Jack Eddleman was a lifelong member of First |
| 13 | | Baptist Church in East Moline; he enjoyed golfing and playing |
| 14 | | euchre and poker; he was a family man and loved spending time |
| 15 | | with his grandchildren; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Jack Eddleman was preceded in death by his |
| 17 | | parents; his wife, Willa; his daughter, Brenda Gordon; and his |
| 18 | | siblings, Ruth (Jiggs) McKenzie, Don (Jeri) Eddleman, and Roy |
| 19 | | (Shirley) Eddleman; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Jack Eddleman is survived by his children, Anita |
