| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Fredrick L. Mammen of Springfield, who |
| 4 | | passed away on July 30, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen was born in Ogle County to Lukie |
| 6 | | and Verdena (Terivili) Mammen on May 16, 1933; he married Rita |
| 7 | | A. Rodems on May 4, 1972; he served in the U.S. Army during the |
| 8 | | Korean War; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen worked as an engineer at AT&T, |
| 10 | | formerly known as Illinois Bell, until his retirement; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen was preceded in death by his |
| 12 | | parents and his brother, Elmer; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen is survived by his wife; his |
| 14 | | daughter, Kathy; his sons, Steve and Alan; his stepson, Pete; |
| 15 | | and his several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, |
| 16 | | and nephews; therefore, be it

| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 19 | | Fredrick L. Mammen and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 20 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
