SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of James B. "Jim" Moose of Cleveland, who 
4passed away on August 17, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jim Moose was born in Astoria to Glenn D. and 
6Mildred B. (Baldry) Moose on October 17, 1937; he married Janet 
7E. Norman in Rock Island in March of 1967; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jim Moose enjoyed skeet shooting, trap shooting, 
9sporting clays, fishing, and golfing; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Jim Moose was preceded in death by his seven 
11brothers; his son, Terry Moose; and his grandson, Thomas 
12Carpentier; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Jim Moose is survived by his wife, Janet Moose; 
14his children, Ketra Loftin, Sandra Bopp, and David Bopp; his 
15five grandchildren; and his nine great-grandchildren; 
16therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19James B. "Jim" Moose and extend our sincere condolences to his 
20family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
