SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Donald J. "Don" Rench of Rock Island, who 
4passed away on August 16, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Don Rench was born on September 16, 1933; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Don Rench served in the U.S. Air Force as a staff 
7sergeant; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Don Rench was a retired Rock Island firefighter; 
9and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Don Rench was preceded in death by his grandson, 
11Steven Rench; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Don Rench is survived by his children, Lisa 
13Johnson and Donald (Barb) Rench Jr.; his grandchildren, Thomas 
14Joseph Cross, Stephen S. Cross, C. Michael Cross, Lauren 
15Kathleen (Nathan) Bloomquist, and Joseph James Rench; and three 
16great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Donald J. "Don" Rench and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
2further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to  the family of  Don Rench as an expression of our
