SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ronald Lee "Ron" Sparks of Bloomington, 
4who passed away on September 15, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ron Sparks was born in LeRoy to Wayne and Elsie 
6Hart Sparks on April 7, 1938; he married Carol Tudor on 
7September 21, 1958, and she preceded him in death in 1986; he 
8married Marilyn Gregory in Las Vegas on September 7, 1987; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Ron Sparks owned Sparky's Home Improvement; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Ron Sparks was a  member of the Bloomington 
11Corvette Club and served in  the United States Army Reserve; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Ron Sparks was preceded in death by his first 
13wife, Carol; his infant son, Ronald D. Sparks; and his nephew, 
14Rick Sparks; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Ron Sparks is survived by his wife, Marilyn; his 
16daughter, Angela Sparks; his grandchildren, Josh, J.R., 
17Austin, and Destiny Prewitt; and nine great-grandchildren; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Ronald Lee "Ron" Sparks and extend our sincere condolences to 
3his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Ron Sparks as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
