| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Richard "Rich" L. Gravitt of Coal Valley, |
| 4 | | who passed away on September 16, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Rich Gravitt was born to Arthur and Marie (Hinkel) |
| 6 | | Gravitt in Rock Island on September 2, 1937; he served in the |
| 7 | | U.S. Army; he married Patricia Houghtaling on February 27, |
| 8 | | 1960; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Rich Gravitt worked at John Deere until his |
| 10 | | retirement on May 1, 1996; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Rich Gravitt enjoyed classic cars and trucks; he |
| 12 | | loved his family, and they were everything to him; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Rich Gravitt is survived by his wife; his |
| 14 | | children, Jeff (Jan) Gravitt, Cathy Gravitt, and James |
| 15 | | (Candice) Gravitt; his grandchildren, Krystle, Michael, Grant, |
| 16 | | Hailey, and Greyson; his great-grandchildren, Olivia, Dominic, |
| 17 | | Lily, and Ryan; and his sisters, Marge (Jerry) Maddox, Sandy |
| 18 | | (Donny) Metzner, and Jan (Dick) Seibert; therefore, be it
