| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Jimmy Dwayne "Jim" Hannah of Port Byron, |
| 4 | | who passed away on September 14, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jim Hannah was born in Michigan City, Indiana to |
| 6 | | James and Beulah (Kilgore) Hannah on January 4, 1957; he served |
| 7 | | in the U.S. Navy; he married Claire Jean Ditto on October 27, |
| 8 | | 1990; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Jim Hannah was a forklift operator; most recently, |
| 10 | | he worked for R&L Carriers; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Jim Hannah loved baseball and was a huge Chicago |
| 12 | | Cubs fan; he also loved the Raiders football team; he enjoyed |
| 13 | | getting scratch off lottery tickets, doing yardwork, and |
| 14 | | tending his flowers; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Jim Hannah is survived by his wife, Claire; his |
| 16 | | children, Brandi (Michael) Galinowski, Chris (Amy) Lawrenz, |
| 17 | | Dawn (Donald) Silvers, and Renee (Daniel) McGinty; his |
| 18 | | grandchildren, Tyler Galinowski, James Baker, Danielle Keel, |
| 19 | | Elizabeth Silvers, Allison Silvers, Hunter Fox, Madeline |
| 20 | | McGinty, Abigail McGinty, Samuel McGinty, Brenden Lawrenz, |
| 21 | | Laura Sutton, Emily Sutton, and James Lawrenz; and his six |
