| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of William D. "Bill" Dugger of Buffalo, who |
| 4 | | passed away on March 30, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Bill Dugger was born to Donald and Ola Faye (Dunn) |
| 6 | | Dugger on May 8, 1938; he married Betty Gathman in Springfield |
| 7 | | on August 31, 1974; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Bill Dugger served in the Illinois Army National |
| 9 | | Guard for 40 years and retired as an allied trades foreman; he |
| 10 | | was also a farmer; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Bill Dugger was a member of Grace Community |
| 12 | | Fellowship Church, the Mechanicsburg Masonic Lodge 500, and the |
| 13 | | Palmyra Eastern Star; he enjoyed woodworking and collecting |
| 14 | | pocket watches; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Bill Dugger was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 16 | | his brothers, Roger and Jerry; and his sister, Patricia Beckum; |
| 17 | | and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Bill Dugger is survived by his wife, Betty; his |
| 19 | | daughters, Catherine (Bill) Bryant and Cynthia (Dave) Brunner; |
| 20 | | his grandchildren, Krista (Sean) Monroe, Lindsey Miller, Evan |
