| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Larry L. Trucano, who passed away on |
| 4 | | October 4, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Larry Trucano was born in East St. Louis on |
| 6 | | September 15, 1939; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Larry Trucano retired in 1989 after over 23 years |
| 8 | | as a police officer with the City of Collinsville; he also |
| 9 | | served as Collinsville Township Highway Commissioner for 35 |
| 10 | | years; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Larry Trucano was a charter member of Our Lord's |
| 12 | | Lutheran Church in Maryville; most recently, he was a member of |
| 13 | | the Madison County Board and the Southwest Illinois Law |
| 14 | | Enforcement Board; he was a past member of the YMCA Board; he |
| 15 | | was also known as the non-Kiwanian who sold the most bags of |
| 16 | | oranges, at 1,400 bags; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Larry Trucano was preceded in death by his father, |
| 18 | | Harry V. Trucano, and his mother, Wilma (Richardson) Trucano |
| 19 | | Giovando; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Larry Trucano is survived by his wife, Ginger M. |
