| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Wayne Robert Blette of East Moline, who |
| 4 | | passed away on October 19, 2020; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Blette was born in Worcester, Massachusetts |
| 6 | | to Robert and Frances Curtis on November 25, 1955; during the |
| 7 | | Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Navy as part of Operation |
| 8 | | Eagle Pull and Operation Frequent Wind; he married MaryEllen |
| 9 | | DePorter in Jamaica on September 11, 1993; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Blette was a payroll technician at the Rock |
| 11 | | Island Arsenal; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Blette was a member of the St. Anne Catholic |
| 13 | | Church; he loved music and was an excellent guitar player; he |
| 14 | | was a St. Louis Cardinals fan; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Blette was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 16 | | and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Blette is survived by his wife of 27 years, |
| 18 | | MaryEllen; his sister, Gayle Scott; his brother, Stephen |
| 19 | | Blette; his wife's family; and his many nieces and nephews; |
