| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 3.24 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (410 ILCS 620/3.24 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 3.24. Drug misbranding; gluten. An oral drug is |
| 8 | | misbranded if gluten is included as an inactive ingredient and |
| 9 | | is not so listed on its label. This Section does not apply to a |
| 10 | | pharmacy or pharmacist, as those terms are defined in Section |
| 11 | | 3 of the Pharmacy Practice Act.
