| 1 | | AN ACT concerning government.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Flag Display Act is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 4 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (5 ILCS 465/4) (from Ch. 1, par. 3306)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 4.
The flags used by any and all State institutions, |
| 8 | | as provided
for in this Act, shall be paid for out of the funds |
| 9 | | appropriated for the
running expenses of said institutions, |
| 10 | | the same as other necessary
supplies are bought and paid for, |
| 11 | | and the flags for use over court
houses and public school |
| 12 | | buildings are hereby declared to be necessary
supplies, and |
| 13 | | may be paid for out of the public funds of the respective
|
| 14 | | counties or school districts. No State institution or agency |
| 15 | | may purchase any American flags or Illinois State flags except |
| 16 | | those manufactured in the United States of America.
