AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1765 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1765 on page 1, 
3line 11, by replacing "including" with "including,  but not 
4limited to,"; and
          
5on page 1, line 14,  by inserting "political and religious 
6information,", after "fingerprints,"; and 
 
7on page 1, line 23, deleting  "free of charge"; and
 
8on page 2, line 4, by replacing  "including" with "including, 
9but not limited to,"; and 
 
10on page 2, line 8, by inserting after the period the following:
11"Information collected under this Section must be deleted 
12within 24 hours of the meeting. A background check of
speakers 
13at meetings of public bodies
may only be conducted if there is 
14probable cause or reasonable suspicion to believe that there

1is a security risk to public officials and other persons who 
2will attend
the meeting
and that security risk is documented 
3by law enforcement.".
