Amends the Notice By Publication Act. Provides that if a notice is required to be published in a newspaper where the city, town, or county consists of more than 52% of a single minority group, the notice shall also be published in a local newspaper of that minority group and in the native language of that minority group.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Notice By Publication Act is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 12 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (715 ILCS 5/12 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 12. Minority groups. If a notice is required to be |
| 8 | | published in a newspaper under this Act where the city, town, |
| 9 | | or county consists of more than 52% of a single minority group, |
| 10 | | the notice shall also be published in a local newspaper of that |
| 11 | | minority group, if available, and in the native language of |
| 12 | | that minority group.
