| 4 | | "A paramedic or firefighter who removes an animal from a motor |
| 5 | | vehicle under this Section shall remain on the scene with the |
| 6 | | animal until an animal control officer or a law enforcement |
| 7 | | officer can take possession of the animal. If the owner takes |
| 8 | | possession, the paramedic or firefighter must report the |
| 9 | | incident to local law enforcement or animal control.".
