Amends the Illinois African-American Family Commission Act. Provides that the annual funding allocation for the Illinois African-American Family Commission shall be no less than $1,000,000.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois African-American Family Commission |
| 5 | | Act is amended by changing Section 25 as follows: |
| 6 | | (20 ILCS 3903/25) |
| 7 | | Sec. 25. Funding. The African-American Family Commission |
| 8 | | may receive funding through appropriations available for its |
| 9 | | purposes made to the Department on Aging, the Department of |
| 10 | | Children and Family Services, the Department of Commerce and |
| 11 | | Economic Opportunity, the Department of Corrections, the |
| 12 | | Department of Human Services, the Department of Healthcare and |
| 13 | | Family Services, the Department of Public Health, the State |
| 14 | | Board of Education, the Board of Higher Education, the |
| 15 | | Illinois Community College Board, the Department of Human |
| 16 | | Rights, the Capital Development Board, the Department of |
| 17 | | Labor, and the Department of Transportation. The Commission |
| 18 | | may also receive and expend funding from federal and private |
| 19 | | sources, including gifts, donations, and private grants. The |
| 20 | | annual funding allocation for the Commission shall be no less |
| 21 | | than $1,000,000.
