| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and |
| 5 | | Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is |
| 6 | | amended by adding Section 2310-431 as follows:

| 7 | | (20 ILCS 2310/2310-431 new) |
| 8 | | Sec. 2310-431. Medical examiner offices; medical |
| 9 | | facilities. The Department shall ensure that medical examiner |
| 10 | | offices are included as part of medical facilities for the |
| 11 | | purposes of complying with and implementing Sections 212(e) |
| 12 | | and 214(l) of the federal Immigration and Nationality Act (8 |
| 13 | | U.S.C. 1182(e) and 8 U.S.C. 1184(l)) and 22 CFR 62 regarding |
| 14 | | the federal Exchange Visitor Program.
